Hailing from the stunning, laid-back surfing mecca of Byron Bay, Koludrovic first moved to Sydney when he was 16 to finish his education and pursue a career in the culinary arts. After two years of working in the well-respected Café Sydney and Boathouse on Blackwattle Bay, he moved to Europe to study under esteemed and award-winning Chef Brett Graham and Chef Olivier Couillaud at The Dorchester Hotel and La Trompette. Building a reputation in fine dining circles for his refined, elevated approach to cooking with simple, fresh ingredients in restaurants, Koludrovic returned to Sydney to join the team at Becasse in 2006, where he climbed the ranks to Head Chef in just two years.
Since arriving in Los Angeles, Koludrovic has enjoyed exploring how unending fresh, local bounty of Southern California amplifies his distinct culinary voice, creating thoughtful and elevated dishes. Monty’s first venue, under the Botanical Hospitality Group as Culinary Director, was Strings of Life Café on Melrose. Then a relaunch of the stalwart EP/LP with a Modern American menu shake up. Last but not least he was the Executive Chef for Grandmaster Recorder in Hollywood.
This dinner will include 6 Courses as well as small bites. Wine service will be available for purchase. There will be a corkage fee of $40.
